🧶 Find out 2 things about the fashion industry that make them bad for the planet.

🧶 Find out 2 ways some of the fashion industry are making their garments better for the planet.

CLUE - Teemill
CLUE - Nature threads

🧶 Design an ECO FASHION slogan and picture suitable to be printed on a garment. Draw it on a double page spread in your notebooks.

🧶 Design the garment for it to go on in your notebooks. Include type of fabric and ink.

🧶 Adjust your design to make it fit in to a circle suitable for a badge.

🧶 Design a poster or flyer for your fashion product in your notebook.

If your designs are good we can have T-shirt’s made.

If you achieve this you will have earned your CRAFTIVISM badge.

Photo Alphabet Challenge

Our recent project has been the Photo Alphabet.
Every girl was challenged to take photographs of every day objects to create the alphabet.

Loads of creative fun. We are gathering lots of alphabets for an exhibition for the Arts Trail in 2021.

Programme

We are currently not holding face to face meetings.

We are having online challenges and planning Zoom meetings.

We hope to return to face to face meetings as soon as government rules allow and Girlguiding UK approve resuming meetings.


Cooking On The Beach With Swedish Logs

This is one of the ways we cook out of doors. We take pre-cut logs with us and cook directly on top. Knock in 4 or 5 nails to stand the pan on. Then at the end you put out the fire, let the logs cool and take them away. Leave no trace!
